Story of Tour de France Chapt 7 & 8
This summer HISTOIRES FRANCAISES brought you a Tour de France of some of the artisans we work with and, above all, of their regions, sharing their insider secrets at last!
Our Tour de France is coming to an end... What a pleasure to have spent it in your company! Here are the last 2 destinations 7 and 8, if you missed them on our social networks!
Stage 7 : OCCITANIE, in Puycelsi: our partner OPPIDUM and its organic cosmetics which take care of our skin so well !
Its secrets: a walk, a bike ride or even a horse ride through The Margeride, a secret land made of forests and immense plains and dotted with lakes and rivers. You can cross it on foot, by bike or on horseback to enjoy this haven of peace in all serenity. It is an incredibly powerful place to recharge your energy.
Then, for contrast, how about a fancy evening in the vineyards at the Château de Salettes! Or a picnic at the top of the Montagne Noire at the Col de Picotalen, the smallest ski resort in France!
You can also visit the Toulouse-Lautrec museum in Albi, located in the former episcopal palace of Berbie opposite the cathedral; or the Bemberg foundation in Toulouse, in the Assézat hotel, a splendid example of a residence of rich pastry masters from the Renaissance.
Stopover 8 : ILE DE FRANCE, in Paris: our partner CESAIRE and its superb handbags which make you want to go back to work!
Its secrets: Discover the city of Figuier and its amazing exotic and colourful facades in the Oberkampf district.
Then head south to Pigalle, in the Rue Duperré, for a bit of sport or, for those who love arty places, a graphic basketball court of rare aesthetic.
Finally, end the day in romantic mode with a drink or dinner in the gardens of the Hôtel Particulier in Montmartre. Well hidden, this little corner of paradise in Paris cannot be forgotten...
