Today we are telling you the story of a new artisan at HISTOIRES FRANCAISES!

We are very happy and proud to present the beautiful creations of Stéphanie CESAIRE.

Based in Paris, Stéphanie created her brand in 2007, after a rich experience in fashion with the greatest: Karl Lagerfeld and Albert Elbaz to name but a few. She wanted to rediscover the true values of craftsmanship.

Stéphanie's bags are architectural, with sober lines and made in the most beautiful full grain leathers by French craftsmen. Grained calf, box calf or buffalo leather, the leathers she selects are all full grain leather, with very little coverage in order to respect and enhance the natural veining of the grain and to offer an incomparable touch. In a concern for authenticity and quality, she uses real horn and raw brass for a natural patina; her range of colours is warm and deep.

Anxious to preserve the age-old know-how inherited from the saddlery industry, Stéphanie has surrounded herself with three French workshops, also partners of the great houses, who work with the greatest respect for leatherwork traditions.

Eco-responsibility is also at the heart of her approach through local production, strict control of leather tanning and optimisation of the skins used.
