The GM cup is an emblematic model of the MANUFACTURE DE DIGOIN, created in 1875. It has a very special history as it once contained a legendary spreadable cheese. Today it is proposed reinterpreted in a new email perfect for all your cold or hot drinks. It is made of stoneware and its capacity is 18cl.
Long considered more noble than terracotta, stoneware was particularly fashionable at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. The legendary stoneware body, produced entirely in the workshops of the Manufacture, is made from natural mineral materials originating in France (Burgundy, Auvergne, Charente, Île-de-France). The firing of the pieces, carried out at high temperature (1250°C) contributes to the qualities of waterproofness, solidity and inalterability of the glazed pieces, which is ideal for storing food without transmitting odours.
The MANUFACTURE DE DIGOIN - Stoneware & Pottery is originally a
