The Le Thiers knife is named after its city, the cradle of French cutlery. It has a characteristic double wave shape with the obliques at both ends of the handle reversed. Its shape, both modern and timeless, is unmistakable.
The Thiers is a registered model and protected by the Confrérie du couteau Le Thiers. It has its own logo and distinctive marking.
It has a smooth tempered stainless steel blade for more solidity, with a mirror finish for more elegance. Its handle is in black acrylic assembled by 3 rivets for easy maintenance. It is dishwasher safe.
Verdier manufacture exists since 1859. It is a Living Heritage Company, a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France and has been awarded the label "Artisan de Qualité" by the Collège Culinaire de France.
