The Le Thiers knife bears the name of its city, the cradle of French cutlery. It has a characteristic double wave shape with the obliques at both ends of the handle reversed. Its shape, both modern and timeless, is unmistakable.
The Thiers is a registered model and protected by the Confrérie du couteau Le Thiers. It has its own logo and distinctive marking.
It is made of a monobloc of tempered stainless steel X20Cr13. Its smooth blade has a mirror finish while the handle has a satin finish for a very elegant contrast. It is dishwasher safe.
Verdier manufacture exists since 1859. It is a Living Heritage Company, a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France and has been labelled "Quality Craftsman" by the Collège Culinaire de France.
