JOUR DE MISTRAL, bijoux made in France et écoresponsables

story of pearls

Once upon a time, there was a young woman from Marseille, Mélanie, in love with her native South and passionate about jewelry! In order to combine business with pleasure, she founded a few years ago, in 2015, her jewelry brand: Jour de Mistral.

Mélanie SARLIN créatrice des bijoux JOUR DE MISTRAL made in France et écoresponsable

Each collection pays tribute to the South of France, to the color of the sky on a mistral day, to the smell of a summer evening by the sea, or to the sunny atmosphere of a summer day in Provence.

Mélanie's creations are also inspired by traditional jewellery from the South, such as the necklace from Marseilles which gave birth to the Massilia necklace, which is also available as a bracelet. She also likes to play with pearls. Mélanie sows them on necklaces, bracelets, earrings and even rings. Cultured pearls, freshwater pearls, coloured stone pearls, agate, garnet, lapis lazuli or onyx, they are all there to illuminate the Jour de Mistral jewels and to assert her style.

All the jewels are original creations and are handmade in an artisanal way. They are made of brass (an alloy of copper and zinc), guaranteed nickel-free to avoid allergies and gilded with 24k gold.

This is how Mistral became a winner!
