This small size bowl, hand-turned, is made of Ash wood. Of an ideal dimension for a multiple use, like a dish, it will be able to be useful to you in the kitchen, for the aperitif, in your room with a pot pourri, or in your bathroom.

Ash is an emblematic tree of the French forests. Both flexible and resistant, it has been used since prehistoric times to make tools. Each tree used has been cut locally (Picardy) and selected by the workshop.

Woodturning is a delicate art: an art of tension, whose sensuality has nothing to envy to pottery turning. Because with a piece of wood thrown at more than 2000 revolutions per minute, any mistake can compromise the piece. Thenit is finished with a mixture of organic oils. Turned dry (i.e. on a core whose fibers no longer contain water), it was put in the kiln after turning to stabilize its shape and ensure a longer life.

Each piece is unique, varying slightly in diameter, height or shape according to each "core".

Precautions :

- do not put in the dishwasher, simply rinse with water and wipe immediately with a cloth.

- Do not wash with aggressive household products.

- do not soak in boiling water.

- take 1 minute, at least once a year, to oil them with an oil for utensils (available at most kitchen equipment stores)

- liquids, hot or cold, will quickly alter the oil that protects the bowls, it will be necessary to take care to oil them more often if you drink a soup or a tea with every day.
