ROYALTIES is a brand of knitted socks and accessories knitted in France of course and completely committed to an eco-responsible approach from the start. This is why it has its place in the collections of HISTOIRES FRANCAISES.
Royalties is also the meeting of 2 very complementary people: Emmanuelle and Thimothée. One is a stylist while the other is a collection director. From their meeting in the studio of a French fashion house was born the desire to set up a project together: to give back its letters of nobility to the sock.
Royalties has therefore chosen to rework the dress sock. The declared will is to go from black to an offer of worked and inspired patterns, to say yes to elegant colors, in short, to be attractive to the end of the feet, to give personality to our feet! From there then were born other collections of knitted accessories, always with the same guideline. And today, hats, scarves and cushions come to complete this universe in its own right.
On the inspiration side, Royalties summons various worlds from the American student to the London dandy, passing through the immutable figure of the Parisian. A lot of fantasy associated with a strong dose of creativity, backed by the codes of English elegance with a zest of French spirit, this is the secret recipe for success. Emmanuelle and Timothée have a lot of fun working on unexpected patterns; Figurative patterns, stripes or checks always revisited, and sometimes large flat colors bring freshness and good humor.
On the manufacturing side, Royalties work in close collaboration and in complete confidence with 2 partners. The first is located near Troyes, the historic cradle of tricolor know-how in knitting and hosiery. The second is located south of Limoges, and has been offering very high quality knitting since 1938 and 3 generations. The links with these 2 partners have been patiently forged over many years. Everything is executed with the greatest care, the drawing of the patterns as well as the selection of threads from the finest materials, those usually reserved for the manufacture of sweaters and of course the realization of the products. This is how it is possible to guarantee softness, comfort and solidity.
On the eco-responsibility side, creativity spoke! Emmanuelle and Timothée, both very aware and involved, very quickly became very concerned about it. It was then that they had the idea of working with yarn scraps to recycle them. This is how hats, scarves and cushions in limited series were born. A whole family of knitted accessories to equip yourself or to dress up your home.
