Jars Céramistes represents a century and a half of know-how. In 1857, from a family workshop in Drôme Provençale, Pierre Jars founded the "Manufactures de Poterie JARS". From that time on, he instilled his vision and his requirement: the desire to marry the beautiful and the useful.

From horticultural "potteries" to refined collections in glazed stoneware for today's table, JARS creations are distinguished by their simple, lively shapes, irregular contours with a rough touch, matt or satin effects and inimitable shades. A true creative freedom supported by passion and respect for know-how!

This age-old know-how has raised Jars to the highly prized rank of French Living Heritage Companies (EPV). A mark of recognition from the French State set up to promote French companies with excellent craftsmanship.
