HISTOIRES FRANCAISES is the slightly crazy idea of showcasing all the talent that exists in France; making people aware of or discovering admirable skills; giving back the value it deserves to manual work.
HISTOIRES FRANCAISES is, of course, also about telling great stories - stories of tradition, expertise, materials, innovation, style and, above all, stories of wonderful human adventures.
This idea was born in the heads of 2 lovers of beauty and (very) well-made products: Cédric & Stéphane! Cédric worked in the luxury goods industry for many years and knows just how much incredible talent France has to offer! The other has had a career in the high-end hotel industry and knows straight away what good work looks like. That's why they wanted to combine their experience to create this wonderful project. HISTOIRES FRANCAISES is more than just a decoration boutique; it aims to be a genuine label, guaranteeing beautiful products made entirely in France, by hand.
So it's with passion that they carefully seek out and select new brands and artisans to continually develop and enrich their collection. From Brittany to the Grand Est, from Hauts de France to Provence, all regions are explored with the utmost care to unearth the little treasures of everyday life, as well as the more exceptional pieces. The world of gifts, decoration, tableware, beauty & well-being and even for the little ones are the playground. A lucky 4-leaf clover, a teddy bear made in France in Brittany, or glassware made in France in the east of France - these are just some of the made in France nuggets on offer from HISTOIRES FRANCAISES.
Each product is rigorously selected according to 3 criteria. Firstly, it must be entirely made in France, by hand, from start to finish, and not just its label! As such, it testifies to know-how that is still alive and well in France. Secondly, it must have been designed in accordance with the principles of eco-responsibility, whether in its components, its manufacturing process and/or its distribution. Finally, in addition to these objective selection criteria of French manufacture and eco-responsibility, each object is selected on the basis of a third, more subjective criterion: the emotion it is capable of arousing!
