Agathe & Georges is a brand of layette and accessories for children created in 2013 by Hélène and Julien.

Indeed when their little Agathe was born early, they wanted to bring her the best of softness, comfort and warmth. All, including the medical staff, pointed them to merino wool.

Indeed, merino wool is the softest and most natural material to keep warm and offer a constant and regulated temperature. With its extremely fine fibres, merino wool does not itch or sting. It conforms to the shape of the body. Its breathable and insulating properties prevent the feeling of wetness and discomfort. It is perfectly suited to sensitive skin and minimizes the risk of allergies. Easy to care for, merino wool is machine washable, quick drying, does not warp and does not need ironing. Thanks to its elasticity, merino layette is as easy to put on as to take off. It is a 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable material, with a very low impact on the environment.

Hélène and Julien have developed a collection of essentials for the little ones with the finest wool, the one coming from the merino sheep of Arles.All the wool used to make the clothes is guaranteed to be free of undesirable and potentially toxic substances. Furthermore,the dyes are tested to ensure that they are not harmful in any way.

Then, the knitting and the making of the models are carried out in a French family workshop also located nearby and labelled Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV).

Thus was born Agathe & Georges, a brand that respects the health of babies, animals, the earth and the work of women and men!
